Regional Collections Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Regional Collections Manager to lead our collections team at Turno . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of collections professionals, developing and implementing effective collections strategies, and ensuring that collections targets are met or exceeded.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and take on a leadership role in collections. As a Regional Collections Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing effective collections strategies to maximize recoveries and minimize losses.
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR NEEDS AND CONCERNS.
  • Negotiating and agreeing on repayment plans with customers to ensure timely and full repayment of loans.
  • Leading and managing a team of collections professionals to achieve collections targets and objectives.
  • Providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and credit, to ensure a cohesive approach to collections.
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with auto loan collections, such as fraud and default.
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports to senior management on collections performance, trends, and issues.
  • Analyzing collections data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize collections processes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in collections, preferably in the auto loan industry.
  • A proven track record of success in managing collections teams and achieving collections targets.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
