Job Summary:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketer to help take SpotDraft’s product marketing to the next level. This entails defining our product positioning and value propositions for key segments, devising and delivering go-to-market strategies for our different product offerings, and driving market insights for the group.
You’ll spend your time listening to our customer needs, understanding the competitive landscape, and helping develop products that help businesses have a better relationship with contracts. We sit at the intersection of Demand Generation, Sales, Product, and Customer Success and revel in connecting all of these teams to drive the business forward. Research, analysis, curiousity, storytelling, and project management are just a few of the attributes of our team – in addition to being open and empathetic.
Key Responsibilities:
- GTM Strategy: Drive top priority launches that help SpotDraft reach new customers and meet our business objectives. Support PMs, and execute solo on new product launches, feature releases, and campaigns.
- Positioning & Messaging: Deeply understand our market and customers to compose powerful, differentiated positioning. Craft (and coach others to craft) impactful messaging frameworks that resonate with our target audiences.
- Player/Coach: Act as both a hands-on contributor, driving several marketing initiatives solo, as well as a leader capable of coaching, guiding and mentoring other strong product marketers.
- Market Insights: Develop a point of view on market and industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitive changes that impact our products. Drive in-depth market and customer research, and help us build a top-class research program.
- Growth/Lifecycle Campaigns: Work in partnership with Product to drive customer engagement. Develop a deep understanding of customer journeys that lead to targeted campaigns and greater customer retention.
- Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, training materials, and content to empower the sales team to effectively communicate the value of the product. Conduct training sessions and webinars to ensure sales teams are well-equipped to win in the market.
- Cross-functional Partnership: Be comfortable and work well with a broad range of people at every level of the business from senior leadership to individual contributors.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars. Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including blogs, whitepapers, and speaking engagements, to enhance brand credibility and authority.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Product Marketing experience at a SaaS company.
- Previous experience as part of a B2B organisation, working with a complex ecosystem of products. Experience in LegalTech is a plus (we care more about product marketing craftsmanship).
- A track record of working closely with Product leadership and helping to shape go-to-market strategy from the early stages of product building.
- The ability to have deep empathy for users and an ability to adapt communication to best reach, engage and differentiate SpotDraft to your audience.
- Enjoy working with data and pairing those quantitative conclusions with the qualitative conversations you have with users.
- An eye for a great key message, and the ability to clearly and constructively critique a creative approach.
- A strong understanding of campaign metrics, and channel mix from email to paid marketing, that shape typical GTM tactics.
- A passion for the product marketing discipline and its critical role within the organisation.
- Must be based in Bangalore, or willing to relocate.
