We are hiringPosition: Area Sales Executive – Modern Trade, Consumer Care Division (CCD)Location: MumbaiReporting To: Area Sales Manager – Modern Trade (CCD)Industry: FMCGAbout the job:We are looking for a proactive and performance-driven Area Sales Executive – Modern Trade to join our Mumbai team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key modern trade accounts such as D-Mart, Reliance, Metro Cash & Carry, Apollo, and others.Your responsibilities will include:- Driving Sales: Achieve monthly & quarterly sales targets across modern trade stores - Store Execution: Ensure stock availability, shelf hygiene, FIFO, and planogram compliance - Merchandising & Branding: Maintain brand visibility and execute trade marketing initiatives - Stakeholder Management: Build strong store-level relationships and coordinate with distributors - Market Intelligence: Track competitor activity and share timely insights and sales reports - Training & Mentoring: Train and mentor promoters and merchandisers to enhance their effectiveness in driving in-store off-take, and ensuring flawless execution of Emami brand initiatives at the point of sale.What we are looking for?- Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing (Preferred) - 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience (Modern Trade is Must) - Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, and trade dynamics - Proficiency in Excel & sales reporting tools - Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skillsWhat will make you successful?- Managing multiple retail accounts and stakeholders - Executing Point of Sale Material (POSM) deployment and in-store activations - Coordinating across supply chain, distributors, and internal teams - Being detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-focused - Result orientation, analytical thinking, customer focusReady to Make an Impact?
