Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineer to join our team in Visakhapatnam. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 7 to 10 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing civil engineering projects with a strong focus on leadership, risk management, and contract administration.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in project management within civil engineering for 7 to 10 years.
  • Proficient in risk management with the ability to identify, evaluate, and manage risks throughout project life cycles (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong contract administration skills, including preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts (Mandatory skill).
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities to lead diverse teams toward project completion (Mandatory skill).
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD for creating detailed engineering plans and designs.
  • Experience with project scheduling using Primavera P6 to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore for effective project tracking and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to facilitate efficient project collaboration and information sharing.
  • Expertise in cost estimation for budgeting and financial planning of engineering projects.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee civil engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Lead project planning sessions and prepare comprehensive project proposals that align with client requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with client specifications.
  • Implement risk management strategies and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct project reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver optimal project outcomes.
  • Monitor progress and performance of project teams and contractors, providing guidance and support as necessary.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, and other relevant records.
