And we’re looking for the creative powerhouse who will lead it all.The Role As Head of Content, you’ll be the creative and strategic engine behind NST’s media arm. You’ll build and scale a YouTube-first network that combines storytelling, student documentaries, podcasts, and intelligent entertainment.You’ll shape the editorial voice, design the content strategy, and lead a multidisciplinary team to create content that informs, moves, and inspires India’s most brilliant students.What You’ll Do: ● Build and lead the YouTube content universe for Newton School of Technology — from flagship docu-series and explainers to conversational podcasts and short-form storytelling. ● Launch youth-driven IPs across genres: student stories, achiever podcasts, campus docs, logic explainers, and de-stress entertainment. ● Hire, coach, and lead a team of writers, producers, directors, editors, and creators. ● Oversee end-to-end production — concept to final cut — across multiple cities and teams. ● Amplify NST’s brand persona — smart, honest, authentic, and deeply Gen-Z. ● Work closely with leadership to drive channel growth, analytics, and brand strategy.What You’ve Done: ● 7 - 10 years of experience in digital content, documentary and/or YouTube content creation. ● Proven success in scaling one or more YouTube or podcast IPs to significant organic traction (500K+ subs / 50M+ views). ● Experience running multi-format creative teams (10–20 people) across editorial, production, and post. ● Deep understanding of Indian youth culture, especially the 15–19-year-old academic and tech-savvy audience. ● A background in documentary storytelling, YouTube-native IPs, or podcast programming is ideal.You Might Have Worked At: ● Digital Storytelling Platforms: Brut India, Vice India, The Quint, The Better India, Curly Tales, Yuvaa, The Swaddle, Homegrown, Mojo Story. ● YouTube Networks: TVF, Pocket Aces, FilterCopy, Dice Media, Unacademy Studios, BYJU’s Media, CRED Originals, Josh Studios, MensXP, ScoopWhoop. ● Podcast / AV Studios: Spotify Originals, IVM Podcasts, Made in India, All Things Small.You Are: ● A storyteller with an analytical mind — can go from a thumbnail brainstorm to a post- production meeting to a quick writing session. ● Emotionally intelligent, editorially sharp, and endlessly curious about what students feel, think, and watch. ● A natural mentor — you can build teams, push creativity, and protect quality. ● Equally fluent in social media analytics and aesthetics. ● Driven by impact — you want your content to move millions and shape a generation.What Success Looks Like ● NST’s media universe reaches 1M+ subscribers and 100M+ views in 18–24 months. ● 3–5 flagship content IPs define NST’s voice across YouTube, Shorts, and podcasts. ● The brand becomes India’s definitive media voice for smart, ambitious teenagers.Why Join Us: If you’ve ever wanted to build a studio from scratch — to shape the stories, design the tone, and lead a creative generation — this is your moment.
