Responsible for identifying opportunities, business development and sales of Data Center & Cloud Services to Government Departments and Government Enterprises. Maintaining strong relationships to government bodies. Provide feedback to leadership based on interactions with government clients, prospects, and other market players.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identifying Government and Public Sector Enterprises opportunities in Data Center and Cloud Services
  • Present Data Center & Cloud services at the executive level at the Government Departments and Enterprises
  • Sell the complete portfolio of Data Center and Cloud Services to Government Undertakings, Public Sector Enterprises, and all possible Government customers
  • Prepare sales forecasts and meet the order book target
  • Leverage and enhance existing relationships to drive additional value and revenue
  • New account development and management
  • Mange marketing, Data Center Services Bids and RFPs, finalizing orders etc to achieve budgeted sales and meet gross margin targets
  • Regularly meet key stakeholders in government bodies to explore potential business opportunities
  • To understand requirements and suggesting the best solutions with latest technology available in the market.
  • To work on strategy formulation towards business development and sales, increasing penetration in the government segment and scope of entering into newer areas, client interactions, technical and financial model preparation, competitor analysis, scenario planning, etc.


Educational Qualifications

BE/B-Tech/MBA or equivalent with Computer Science or Electronics & Communication or Electrical Engineering


Relevant Experience

  • About 10-15 Years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in selling Data Center and Cloud Services to Government Departments and Government Enterprises, PSUs. Should be a result oriented with solid understanding of Data Center and Cloud Services.
  • Deep understanding of Government IT landscape
  • Self-driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Proficiency in MS office and related applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
