Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Python Programmer and Architect to design, develop, and oversee robust software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python programming, system design, and hands-on experience leading architectural decisions in complex systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Python applications.

- Write clean, modular, and efficient code using Python and relevant libraries/frameworks.

- Define and document software architecture, technical standards, and best practices.

- Guide development teams through the SDLC including requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for CI/CD, containerization, and deployment automation.

- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce quality standards.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and scalability challenges.

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and technologies in the Python ecosystem.

Technical Skills & Tools :

Core Programming & Frameworks :

- Strong proficiency in Python 3.

- Experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI

- Familiarity with asynchronous programming (asyncio, aiohttp)

- Knowledge of scripting, automation, and task schedulers (Celery)

Architecture & Design :

- Experience with microservices, RESTful API design, and event-driven architectures

- Expertise in software design patterns, domain-driven design (DDD), and clean architecture

- Hands-on experience creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams (UML), and interface specs

Database & Storage :

- Proficient with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

- Experience with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra)

- Knowledge of ORMs (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM)

DevOps & Cloud :

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

- Deployment experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure

- Use of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is a plus

Soft Skills :

- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences

- Ability to manage priorities and deliver under tight timelines

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced product development environment

- Certifications in Python, Cloud (AWS/GCP), or Architecture (TOGAF, etc.) are a plus
