GradRight is the world's first SaaS ecosystem that brings together students, universities, and financial institutions in an integrated manner. It enables students to find and fund a high-return college education, universities to engage and select the best-fit students, and banks to lend effectively and efficiently.
In just two years, we have enabled students to get the best deals on $ 1.8 Billion of loan requests and facilitated disbursements of more than $ 250 Million in loans. GradRight won the HSBC Fintech Innovation Challenge supported by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India.
GradRight's team has extensive domestic and international experience launching and scaling premier higher education institutions. Alumni of IIT Delhi, BITS Pilani, IIT Roorkee, ISB Hyderabad, and the University of Pennsylvania form the founding team at GradRight.
GradRight is a Delaware, USA-registered company with a wholly-owned subsidiary in India. It has raised Series A investments from IvyCap Ventures.
Core Responsibilities:.
Strategy and planning:.
- Develop a prospect base of Indian Universities by designing frameworks and strategies that aligns with the business goals of GradRight.
- Analyze market trends and threats by competitors in order to develop the right product and business plans for the particular region.
- Work cross functionally with different teams to execute engagement events across the region.
- Work on different mechanisms to maximize student engagement and stakeholder satisfaction across accounts.
- Explore different opportunities for collaboration and expansion of business within the domestic accounts.
Execution:
- Build a pipeline of Universities and Colleges for partnerships and extract business through them.
- Identify the right stakeholders inside the ecosystem University officials, Student body representatives, promoters etc and expand business opportunities through them.
- Active promote GradRight and its services through different engagement channels within the University to drive business and brand awareness.
- Oversee a growing team to ensure revenues and maintenance of relationships with such institutions.
Qualifications: MBA from a Tier - Business School with an undergraduate degree in engineering or sciences or Math will be preferred but it is NOT MANDATORY, if you are self-taught and if your experience demonstrates your proficiency and skills required for this role.
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in University partnerships in higher-education/ed-tech sector.
- Experience in early-stage/growth-stage start-ups in the education sector will be preferred.
