Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, including functional, regression, performance, and automated testing.
  • Ensure that all software releases meet quality standards and are delivered on time by conducting thorough testing and validation.
  • Work closely with product management, development, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment on quality objectives.
  • Develop and implement automation test frameworks and test suites.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Identify, analyse, and document test results.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  • Ensure software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.


• Strong experience in online trading systems, payment processing, or related financial technology.


• Expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.


• Experience with QA tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar.


• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience in working in an Agile environment.


• Strong understanding of security and regulatory compliance standards in financial technologies (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).

Desired Skills:


• Experience with performance testing and load testing for high-traffic systems.


• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and testing in DevOps environments.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
