Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled senior quality assurance engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing domain and be proficient in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.

The selected candidate will develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure the quality of software releases. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.

  • Perform manual, smoke, functional, regression, integration, and automated testing of web and windows-based applications.
  • Analyze data using SQL to validate system behavior and troubleshoot issues.
  • Deploy the build code in the test environment using Unix/Linux.
  • Identify and report bugs, errors, and performance issues and work with developers to resolve them.
  • Design, implement, maintain manual test suites using industry-standard tools like TestRail and Jira.
  • Design, automate, maintain automated test suites and frameworks using industry-standard tools like Selenium, UFT, and Rest Assured.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, or a related field is required. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is preferred. Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines is also preferred.
