WE ARE HIRING FOR A SCHEDULED COMMERCIAL BANK - ESAF SMALL FINANCE BANKKey responsibilities:- Loan processing and disbursement: - Evaluate loan applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness. - Assess the purity, weight, and market value of gold items to determine loan amounts. - Perform credit appraisals and disburse loans according to policy. - Ensure smooth execution of all processes, including data entry, closure, and renewal of accounts. - Customer service: - Provide prompt and high-quality customer service, handling queries both pre- and post-disbursement. - Explain loan terms and conditions to clients. - Build customer relationships and satisfaction. - Sales and marketing: - Promote and sell gold loan products to new and existing customers. - Generate leads from open markets and referrals. - Cross-sell other bank products like savings accounts, mutual funds, or fixed deposits. - Compliance and operations: - Ensure all operations are compliant with internal policies and external regulations. - Maintain accurate records of all transactions and manage file management. - Securely store pledged gold and manage the keys to storage facilities. - Liaise with internal departments and respond to audit findings to ensure zero discrepancies.Required skills and qualifications :- Education: Any Graduate Degree - Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a banking or non-banking financial company (NBFC), especially in gold loans, is highly preferred.
