The role involves managing indirect and direct tax compliances, supporting audits, and ensuring timely filing and accuracy across taxation processes.Key Responsibilities:- Manage GST compliances, including computation of monthly GST liability and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and Annual Returns (GSTR 9/9C).- Conduct ITC reconciliations with GSTR-2A/2B and ensure accuracy of reporting.- Prepare and submit responses to GST departmental notices and queries.- Handle income tax-related compliances: TDS liability review, return filing, and issuance of TDS certificates.- Prepare detailed schedules and workings for Tax Audits.- Provide withholding tax advisories to internal stakeholders and business teams.- Perform reconciliation between books and statutory returns, ensuring completeness and compliance.Qualifications & Experience:- Qualified CA with articleship experience in GST law and return filing.- 2-5 years of relevant experience in taxation and compliance- Strong understanding of tax procedures, audits, and reporting requirements.Technical & Soft Skills:- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Working knowledge of Finance & Accounting tools such as SUN/ERP systems.- Experience with Taxation and e-filing software (e.g., Webtel, Genius).- Excellent communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.Why Join Intertek:At Intertek, you'll work in a collaborative, dynamic environment where your expertise directly contributes to our mission of delivering quality, safety, and sustainability across industries.
