Backed by leading global investors, our founding and management team comes with a stellar track record of successfully scaling projects and products to millions of smallholder land stewards at leading agri- and tech businesses.Position :- Mobile LeadAbout the Role :Were looking for a Mobile Lead with deep expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), Jetpack Compose, and end-to-end Android application development. Youll play a critical role in building modern, scalable, and maintainable mobile apps that deliver world-class user :- Lead the design and development of Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.- Drive cross-platform development using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship features end-to-end.- Optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of Android codebases.- Mentor junior developers and uphold high coding standards and best practices.- Stay current with the latest Android and mobile development trends.Skills & Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience in Android application development.- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.- Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).- Solid understanding of Android architecture components and modern app patterns (MVVM, MVI, etc.).- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, offline caching, and background processing.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and testing frameworks.Bonus Points If You have :- Experience with Compose Multiplatform (JetBrains).- Contributions to open-source projects or tech blogs.- Published apps in the Play Store.What We Offer :- Join a small, ambitious, and international team and enjoy the following benefits :- Competitive salary and benefits package (ESOP)- Key role in shaping a fast-growing climate tech startup- Support for learning & professional development- A culture of undogmatic, unbureaucratic creativity and collaboration (ref:hirist.tech)
