Position : Head of ArchitectureLocation : Hyderabad/ ChennaiIndustry : Healthcare Insurance (US market)Team : Solution, Technical, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data, and Security ArchitectsFocus : Strategy, governance, and hands-on architectural leadership across product developmentWhat Youll Do :- Strategic Leadership : Co-create and drive the architecture strategy aligned to business goals and US healthcare regulations.- People & Culture : Inspire and grow a high-performance architecture team; mentor for professional development.- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Product Development, Testing, and Product Support to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.- Architecture Governance : Establish and enforce architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.- Solution & Technical Leadership : Provide end-to-end architectural guidance for complex initiatives; ensure solutions meet business needs and technical feasibility.- Cloud & Infra Strategy : Define roadmaps for scalable, reliable, secure cloud-based infrastructure.- Data & Security : Architect robust data governance, quality, and analytics capabilities; design strong security controls and threat modeling.- Risk & Innovation : Identify architectural risks, build resilience, and champion emerging technologies that solve business problems.Qualifications :- Leadership Experience : Proven track record leading architecture teams in fast-paced settings.- Healthcare Expertise : Deep understanding of US healthcare insurance landscape and regulatory requirements.- Architectural Mastery : Strong foundation in software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.- Cloud Proficiency : Expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP; hands-on with cloud-native design and optimization.- Delivery & Tech Savvy : Experience with high-performance application development, infrastructure sizing, and tool evaluation/adoption.- Communication : Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.- Education : Bachelors in Computer Science/IT or related field; advanced degrees preferred.Nice-to-Have :- Experience with healthcare data standards (HL7/FHIR)- Data management, analytics platforms, and governance expertise- Security architecture and threat modeling capabilities (ref:hirist.tech)
