Job Title: Lead Engineer – Enterprise Network OperationsDepartment: Engineering and OperationsLocation: MumbaiReporting: Associate Director Network OperationsJob Type: Full TimeShift: Rotational ShiftPRE-REQUISITESTechnical expertise on all or either of the following platformCisco catalyst and Nexus switching and wirelessArista switchingHP/Aruba switching and wirelessMeraki switching and wirelessMist wirelessInfoblox DDIStrong troubleshooting skill setsConceptually strong in the following switching and wireless technologyHSRP/VRRPSTP/VTPVSS/VPCEther-Channels, Stacking of switches (IRF, Cisco Stack)Stand-alone AP, IAP, Flex-connects, Wireless bridgeRESPONSIBILITIESEngineers who have a passion for providing outstanding customer service.24x7 support of Enterprise Networks of large global clients that have a distributed LAN/Wireless/DDI setupWill be a part of a team of who are responsible for handling (switching/wireless/DDI) network operational/problem management issues.Ticket resolution - work and resolve trouble tickets, handle ticket escalationQueue Management - monitor ticket queue, ensure assignment/resolution and closureCreate Method Of Procedure and/or Standard Operating Procedure documentPlan and execute Change Management processesPerformance Tuning of network devices and create Service Improvement PlansPlan and perform firmware upgradeWork with hardware/software vendors to resolve problemsTrain and mentor juniorsAct as an SME SPOC for certain network productsInterface with customer on calls and lead technical meetingsAssist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)Provide technical inputs for weekly/monthly customer service review reportsAny additional task given to the incumbent from time-to-time based on business needsTRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONCisco certification and Aruba /Juniper certification will be added advantageEXPERIENCEMinimum 7 years of progressive, relevant experience and proven capability to work in a complex network environmentEDUCATIONBachelor in Engineering - Computers/Electronics/Communication or related fieldGraduate/Post Graduate in Science/Math/IT or related streams with relevant technology experienceOTHER SKILLSGood communication skills - written as well as verbalPassion to work and learn new technologyITIL process awareness
