Amazon is one of the mostrecognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions ofproducts each year to our loyal customers.Amazon is seeking Team Lead for its Transportation team.Essential Functions - Defining, building and responsible forthe execution oftransportation processes, right from FC tocustomers and leveraging our Sort Center network. - Responsiblefor Hiring, training and building up ahighly motivated workforcefor the SC teams, with support from HRand training team , tomeet the operational requirements, andcontinuouslymeeting the high bar on quality and productivity. - Coordinate with Finance, CS, FC and Projects team tomatters related to SC operations. - Continuouslyimprove the SC process and attain asustained level of performance standard. Initiates improvementsto enhancequality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessarywork. - Analysis of the data reports to identify performancebottlenecks and improve the performance. - Implement the formal process control and processimprovement mechanisms such as KaizenBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience in an operational role - Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertisingOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
