Description : Job Title : IMPS Payment Application Support SpecialistLocation : [City, Remote, Hybrid]Experience : 58 yearsJob Type : Full-TimeAbout the Role : - We are looking for a skilled IMPS Payment Application Support Specialist to manage and support our IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) payment applications.- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in application support within banking/payment domains, ensuring high availability, smooth operations, and timely issue resolution.- You will work closely with development teams, operations, and stakeholders to maintain a seamless payments experience.Key Responsibilities : - Provide end-to-end application support for IMPS payment systems.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to payment transactions, system downtime, and application performance.- Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve defects and implement fixes.- Analyze logs, transaction failures, and system alerts to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.- Ensure timely and accurate processing of IMPS payments and other related banking transactions.- Participate in on-call rotations for critical production support.- Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand requirements and support enhancements.- Prepare and maintain support documentation, incident reports, and SLA compliance reports.- Coordinate with third-party vendors, banking partners, and internal teams for seamless payment operations.- Implement process improvements to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and user experience.Technical Skills Required : - Strong experience in IMPS payment systems or banking payment applications.- Knowledge of payment protocols, transaction processing, and settlement procedures.- Experience in application support tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and monitoring solutions.- Understanding of databases (SQL/Oracle) for transaction tracking and issue resolution.- Familiarity with integration points, APIs, and messaging queues used in payment systems.- Basic understanding of core banking systems and payment regulatory guidelines.- Experience with troubleshooting, incident management, and problem-solving in production environments.Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Team player with a proactive approach to issue resolution.Educational Qualification : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.What We Offer : - Exposure to large-scale payment systems and banking operations.- Collaborative and dynamic work environment.- Opportunity to work on critical applications impacting millions of transactions.- Career growth in financial technology and payment domains- - - - - - - updated portal : hirist.tech (ref:hirist.tech)
