Manual + Automation Test EngineerExperience: 8+ yrsPreferred Domain: Manufacturing focused solutions or products / ERPWork Location: Pune ( Hybrid )Work Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM (IST) / 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM (IST)Skills & Experience:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field- Hands-on experience of manual and automated testing major application(s) including product release and automation using Selenium- Software application testing experience including test deliverables development using manual and automated testing- Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing (manual and automated testing)- Experience with Selenium WebDriver for functional, regression, performance testing, sanity testing, smoke testing and/or performance test automation- Experience with JMeter- Experience of Selenium Java framework with strong hands-on with Java, JVM, relational databases and SQL- Data analysis, data verification by SQL queries and problem-solving abilities- Good understanding of relational database concepts and SQL language- Experience with JIRA/Confluence and QTest Manager will be an advantage- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment with both on-shore and off-shore resources- Strong technical aptitude, time management and organizational skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day Both manual and automated testing- Assist the product quality team in pivoting to a primarily automated testing- Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently- Automate functional tests whenever required including API testing using Post- Manual testing will focus on utilizing expertise in business knowledge and system functionality via exploratory testing in order to find defects outside of the main use cases.- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Software Quality Engineers in test plan creation & execution to ensure proper test coverage and rigor- Serve as a test lead or point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards- Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers- Become a SME in the product domain- Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices- Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities- Reporting team/project metrics- - (ref:hirist.tech)
