Qualifications:

B.E: Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Relevant Exp: 3-8 years



Responsibilities:

Customer requirements analysis during acquisition as well as during product development.

Generating/Creating System requirements by market survey, benchmarking.

Coordinate with internal domains to prepare technical proposals.

Primary customer interface for technical topics.

Review of Mechanical, Electronic Hardware and Software requirements

Analysis of customer requirement to derive mechanical, software and hardware design.

Support software development, Hardware development, Integration and validation team.

Coordination / conflict resolution (technical)-different domains (SW/HW/MD/Testing)

TM and TMCU test plan preparation

Generating EOL and Burn in test specs.

Coordinate with CFT for design transfer to production


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must Have

Understanding of electric vehicle components like TM, TMCU, VCU, converters, chargers, batteries, BMS etc.

Understanding Product development lifecycle in automotive (involvement in at least one product development from enquiry to production handover)

Basic knowledge of Vehicle level physics e.g. torque calculations, gear ratios, road load equations etc.

Technical feasibility analysis for requirements

Basic Knowledge of Embedded hardware and power electronics

Knowledge in Design Verification/Validation Planning (DVP).

Experience in the field of Automotive Embedded Systems

Good command over written English & ability to write technical reports with attention to details.

Hands-on experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel), MPP

Hands-on experience with test & measurement equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies etc.

Basic understanding of any type of application SW development methodologies/Tools Matlab, Simulink, C, C++, NI,


Good to Have

Basic knowledge of different types of Motors such as Interior permanent magnet motor (IPM) and surface permanent magnet motor (SPM) used for traction applications.

Knowledge of FMEA

Knowledge of different theories and concepts of Motor Control algorithms.

Understanding of Control Systems Design

SW development lifecycle

Microprocessors and Microcontrollers knowledge

Hands-on experience in Automotive validation tests

Knowledge about Integrity or DOORS.


Added Advantage

Handson experience on Traction Motor and Controller Testing

Vehicle level testing of electric vehicles

Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations. AIS, UL, CE

Has knowledge and experiences in safety related regulations and standards (IEC 61508 or ISO 26262)

Basic Knowledge of communication tools e.g. PCAN explorer, CANoe, CAN analyser etc

Basic Knowledge of NI tools e.g. Labview
