Hardware Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:·
Design and develop efficient and reliable 3 Phase Motor Inverter systems, onboard chargers, and DC-DC Converters.·
Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulation, and optimization to achieve desired performance targets.·
Conduct feasibility studies and research for new product development in the field of power electronics.·
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware engineers, mechanical engineers, and system architects to ensure seamless integration of hardware components.·
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to select and qualify electronic components for the designs.·
Generate and review technical specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts.·
Perform testing and validation of hardware designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.·
Troubleshoot and debug hardware-related issues during product development and production phases.·
Stay updated with the latest advancements in power electronics, EMI/EMC, and circuit design and apply them to improve product performance and efficiency.·
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Required Skills:·
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.·
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in hardware design with a focus on power electronics.·
Strong knowledge of advanced control circuits, power electronics, EMI/EMC, HF, and circuit design principles.·
Proven track record in designing 3 Phase Motor Inverter systems, onboard chargers, and DC-DC Converters.·
Proficiency in simulation and design tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and PCB design software.·
Experience with lab equipment and test instrumentation for hardware validation and characterization.·
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations governing power electronics.·
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex electrical systems.·
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.·
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:·
Experience with automotive or electric vehicle (EV) powertrain systems.·
Familiarity with safety-critical hardware design practices.·
Knowledge of thermal management techniques in power electronics.·
Familiarity with high-frequency magnetics and magnetics design.·
Publication record or patents in the field of power electronics.
