Our Story:

Our client has a vision to transform patient experience in the underserved markets by bridging the gap which exists in primary healthcare. Our client is introducing a hybrid healthcare and fulfilment model that helps connect patients in underserved markets to healthcare providers and other key ecosystem players digitally and executing it through a robust 3-tier model of Hub, Spoke and a network of satellite health centres.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all day-to-day operations. This role demands a strong leader with a deep understanding of diagnostic processes, quality control, and team management. The Operations Manager will ensure the centre delivers accurate and timely results, maintains regulatory compliance, and provides exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities:

1. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient utilization of resources. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Manage inventory of reagents, consumables, and equipment, ensuring timely procurement and stock control. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Ensure timely reporting of test results and adherence to turnaround times. Maintain accurate records of all operational activities.

2. Quality Management: Implement and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS) in compliance with NABL/ISO standards. Conduct regular internal audits and participate in external quality assessments. Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all diagnostic tests. Investigate and resolve quality control issues and discrepancies. Maintain accurate documentation of quality control procedures and results.

3. Team Leadership and Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff. Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficient utilization of resources. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Address staff concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.

4. Patient Experience: Ensure a patient-centric approach to all diagnostic services, prioritizing patient safety and comfort. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients. Address patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate records for regulatory audits and inspections.
