The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience managing complex database systems in production environments.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases as per project specifications.- Develop, implement, and maintain unit tests for SQL database programs.- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, capacity, and replication issues.- Design and implement data models and translate them into efficient physical structures.- Manage database installation, configuration, and software maintenance.- Ensure robust backup, recovery, and data security mechanisms.- Develop and maintain database scripts, procedures, and triggers for development teams.- Manage and coordinate database changes across Development, QA, and Production environments.- Define and enforce database standards, best practices, and performance metrics.- Monitor databases for errors, perform proactive performance tuning, and ensure system stability.- Design and implement highly available, scalable production database systems.- Configure database network connectivity and ensure smooth integration with applications.- Document all work clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.- Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team setting.- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.Qualifications : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience with MS SQL Server (2016 or later).- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.- Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.- Knowledge of backup strategies, recovery procedures, and replication techniques.
