Our clients include some of the worlds most iconic corporations.We are hiring ourfirst core engineering team member in India— aProduct Engineer (AI + Full Stack)who will work closely with our US-based CTO and play a foundational role in scaling our technology.This is an exceptional opportunity for ahigh-potential junior engineer (1–3 years)who wantshands-on ownership ,end-to-end product exposure , andfast growth into Head of Engineering or Product Manager roles.What You Will DoAs a Product Engineer, you will work across product, engineering, and customer teams to build and improve our AI-enabled applications. You will:Core ResponsibilitiesMaintain, improve, and extend the Ubuntoo AI application (with support from external development partners). Lead the build-out of new product features:architecture → coding → testing → deployment . Write clean, scalable code across the stack (React, Node.js/Java + Python). Manage engineering workflows includingJira , code reviews, and quality standards. Support product discovery: translate user needs into product requirements. Integrate with AI components (RAG pipelines, API-driven LLM features, AI agents). Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of backend services and cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teammates (client managers, analysts, operations). Join customer discovery calls to understand use cases and observe pain points. Work directly with the CTO to shape technical decisions and product strategy.What Success Looks Like (First 60 Days)Deep understanding of Ubuntoo’s platform architecture and workflows. Independently ownsproduct management and Jira processes . Able to confidently implement front-end features inReact . Works smoothly with the US CTO in an India-first schedule with short overlap hours.Required Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields 2 – 3 yearsof software development experience. Strong in at least two of:React (front-end), Python, Node.js/Java . Understanding of APIs, microservices, and modern web app architecture. Exposure to AI concepts — RAG, LangChain-style orchestration, vector databases — enough to integrate and use them (not develop models from scratch). Solid understanding of relational & non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
