This role involves working closely withEET Distinguished Engineerson cutting-edge initiatives including theInnerSource Portal ,Copilot Rule Translation (Prompt Library) , andTemplate Project Enrichment . The position demands technical excellence, leadership, and the ability to influence engineering practices across teams through innovation and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Development Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend systems. Provide architectural guidance and hands-on development support forCore Java ,Spring Boot , andmicroservices-based applications . Drive implementation ofevent-driven ,messaging , andbatch processing architecturesto support complex enterprise workflows. Ensure system resiliency, observability, and performance through proactive engineering practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business goals. AI & InnerSource Collaboration Partner withEET Distinguished Engineersto evolve and enhance theInnerSource Portal(React-based). Translate organizationalcoding guidelinesintoCopilot Rulesand maintain aPrompt Libraryfor AI-assisted development. Contribute totemplate project enrichment , standardizing development patterns and best practices for enterprise adoption. Drive InnerSource adoption by creating reusable, compliant, and performant project templates. Software Engineering Excellence Apply a performance-first mindset across the entire SDLC, from design to deployment. Enforce strong coding standards, design principles, and testing practices. Ensure high-quality code throughunit testing ,integration testing , andperformance profiling . ChampionCI/CD , containerization, and deployment automation for continuous improvement. Conduct technical reviews, mentor team members, and promote engineering excellence. Full Stack Engineering (Optional / As Required) Contribute to full stack initiatives usingCore JavaScriptandTypeScript . Build modular backend services usingExpressorFastifyframeworks. Implementsecure APIs (REST and GraphQL)with strong authentication and authorization mechanisms. Design efficient database schemas, implement data access layers, and optimize queries using ORMs or native SQL. Required Technical Skills Core Backend Skills: Core Java ,Spring Boot ,Microservices Architecture Data Structures ,Multithreading ,Concurrency Messaging Systems:Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar Batch and File Processing ,Event-driven systems Performance Engineering ,Profiling ,Optimization RESTful API Design ,Resiliency & Observability Full Stack / JavaScript Ecosystem: JavaScript ,TypeScript ,Node.js Frameworks:Express ,Fastify API Development:REST / GraphQL Authentication/Authorization:OAuth2, JWT, SSO Frontend (optional exposure):React (especially for InnerSource Portal) Testing & DevOps: Unit, Integration, and Performance Testing (JUnit, Jest, Mocha, Gatling, JMeter) Mocking frameworks and test automation pipelines CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes Version Control: Git / GitHub Enterprise Cloud & Infra Knowledge (Good to Have): AWS, Azure, or GCP exposure Cloud-native microservices deployment Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science ,Engineering , or related field. Proven experience as aTechnical LeadorArchitectdriving large-scale backend or full stack initiatives. Experience working inInnerSource / Open Sourceenvironments. Knowledge ofAI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, LangChain, etc.)is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
