Experience Range: 10-15 Years


Desired Competencies -Must-Have (Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

  1. Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  2. Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Proactive approach to identifying and addressing data-related issues.


Good-to-Have(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

  1. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
  2. Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  3. Understanding of data security and compliance best practices.
  4. Experience in performance tuning and optimizing ETL workflows.
  5. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team.


Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and scripts to automate data integration processes.
  2. Extract data from various sources, apply business rules, and load it into data warehouses or other systems.
  3. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL processes to ensure smooth and efficient data flow.
  4. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
  5. Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the ETL process, adhering to best practices.


Required Technical Skill Set

  1. Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or equivalent.
  2. Expertise in data warehousing architecture, data modeling, and database management.
  3. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
  4. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
  5. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for advanced automation and customization.
