Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  1. Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and scripts to automate data integration processes.
  2. Extract data from various sources, apply business rules, and load it into data warehouses or other systems.
  3. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL processes to ensure smooth and efficient data flow.
  4. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
  5. Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the ETL process, adhering to best practices.


Required Technical Skill Set

  1. Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  2. Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar.
  3. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and database management.
  4. Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell scripting) for automation.
  5. Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data governance.
