Job description


Job Title: Manager Costing for a leading Food processing co at Hosur

Location: Hosur

Experience: 7+ years & above in any manufacturing co preferably from FMCG

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the product costing process, including standard cost setting, variance analysis, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Prepare and review monthly cost reports, inventory valuations, and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Sales) to ensure accurate cost allocation and control.
  • Ensure accurate and timely SAP entries related to costing (CO module), and support integration with FICO and SD modules.
  • Drive budgeting and forecasting processes related to manufacturing costs.
  • Support internal and statutory audits with relevant costing data and documentation.
  • Continuously improve costing processes and systems to enhance transparency and decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

CMA / ICWA qualified.

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong expertise in SAP (CO, FICO, SD modules) and MS Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of product costing, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
