**Role Overview**

The Costing / Estimation Engineer will handle **cost analysis and quotation preparation** for **precision-machined components and sheet metal parts**. The role requires strong knowledge of machining and fabrication processes, accurate cost calculation skills, and the ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams for competitive estimations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review **engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical requirements** for cost estimation.
- Estimate cost for **precision components (CNC, VMC, turning, grinding, wirecut/EDM)** and **sheet metal parts (laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, finishing, assembly)**.
- Prepare **cost sheets, quotation breakups, and proposal documents**.
- Calculate **material usage, machining hours, tooling, labor, and overheads**.
- Coordinate with **suppliers/vendors** to obtain material and subcontracting costs.
- Support **Sales/Business Development** in responding to RFQs with accurate costings.
- Maintain a **cost database** for standard machining and sheet metal processes.
- Identify **cost optimization and material utilization improvements**.
- Prepare **MIS reports and costing presentations** for management.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Knowledge of **precision machining & sheet metal fabrication processes**.
- Ability to **read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T**.
- Strong **analytical and numerical skills** for cost calculations.
- Proficiency in **MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint**; ERP knowledge preferred.
- Good negotiation and vendor coordination skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,725.33 - ₹46,173.67 per month
