About the Role:

Dhruva Space is looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Information Security, to lead and manage the organization’s information security program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing security strategies, policies, and standards to protect the organization’s critical assets. This leadership role requires a blend of strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage and guide teams effectively to ensure a robust and proactive security posture. The Senior Manager will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with the organization’s business objectives.
  • Identify and assess emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure the security program remains relevant and effective.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Develop and maintain a robust security governance framework.
  • Design and implement security architectures for various systems and applications.
  • Oversee the deployment and maintenance of security controls such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure security is seamlessly integrated into the development and deployment processes.
  • Manage security operations teams, including incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
  • Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with relevant teams to minimize impact and restore systems.
  • Foster a security-aware culture across the organization through training and awareness programs.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing security team.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to encourage teamwork and innovation.


Candidate Recruitment:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor teams.
  • Deep understanding of information security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Strong technical expertise in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and identity and access management.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly valued.
