Job Title: Senior Network & Cloud Engineer

Location: Mumbai

Experience Range: 5-10 Years

Required Technical Skill Set:

  1. Extensive hands-on knowledge and Experience in Network design, Planning, and implementation of Network Infrastructure in the Data Center environment supporting large-scale enterprise networks.
  2. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols including advance Routing Protocols (BGP/OSPF) and Switching Technologies (STP, HSRP, Switch Stack, VSS, VTP, etc. ).
  3. Extensive knowledge in Firewalls with Vendors & products like CISCO ASA, Palo Alto & Azure firewalls. Any relevant certification in the field would be ideal to have.
  4. Sound knowledge in Citrix ADC Load balancer & f5 appliances.

Understanding of Forwards & Reverse proxy with good understanding of GSLB (Global Server Load Balancing), SSL offloading, Load balancing methodologies, Virtual Gateways, etc.

Good knowledge of MS Azure cloud and knowledge in supporting & configuring VNET peering, NSGs, Cloud Hub-Spoke deployments using Terraform Code ( Azure DevOps ).

Must Have:



Proficiency in designing and implementing DC routing/switching solutions using leading vendors' technologies such as Cisco (preferred), Palo Alto & MS Azure Cloud.

Proficiency in designing and implementing next-generation firewalls from leading vendors like Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortinet.


Good-to-Have:



Knowledge on Terraform Code Deployments (Azure IaaS), Wireless Technology (CISCO IOS XE, Aire OS ) & Citrix load balancers.


Roles/Expectations from the role:


  1. Demonstrated expertise in providing Network architecture and advisory services for both on-premises and cloud-hosted environments and solutions.
  2. Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Cloud, leverage solid experience in enterprise network architecture to drive large-scale infrastructure transformation projects, encompassing enterprise networking, data centers, and cloud environments.
  3. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, adeptly navigating both business and technical challenges to achieve successful but pragmatic outcomes.
  4. Strong communication and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and driving alignment on security initiatives.
  5. Strong & extensive understanding of network technologies, frameworks, and methodologies, ensuring informed decision-making & implementation.
  6. Possession of industry-recognized Network or security certifications such as Azure Certifications, CISCO (CCNA, CCNP, CISSP), Palo Alto Firewalls (PCNSA, PCNSE) or similar is ideal to have.
  7. Proficient with architecture frameworks and practices, leveraging them to develop and implement Network & Security Architecture and Designs.
  8. Conduct thorough security & network control assessments to validate control effectiveness, implementation, and alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  9. Extensive hands-on experience in Implementation & troubleshooting of Routing, switching, Palo Alto, Azure, Citrix load balancer and proxy services.
  10. Extensive knowledge and strong expertise required on advanced routing protocols like BGP and OSPF based enterprise routing and switching for large enterprise networks.
  11. Creating, updating, and maintaining network documentation such as network topologies, policies, knowledgebase articles, and configurations.
  12. Monitor network health and performance to proactively identify and resolve issues and provide support to team members of all levels.
  13. Actively participate in the On-Call roster and any out of hours work required (planned/unplanned) for managed services.
  14. Act as a trusted technical authority and actively contribute to the planning and execution of implementations and migrations, ensuring seamless transitions and successful outcomes.
