Key Requirements and Responsibilities : - 6+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.- Strong understanding of MVC, OOP, and RESTful API design.- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks like React, Vue.js, or StimulusJS.- Familiarity with background job processing using Sidekiq, Resque, or similar.- Experience with RSpec, Capybara, or similar testing frameworks.- Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially Git.- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Heroku) is a plus.- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and optimization skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with microservices architecture.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.- Contribution to open-source projects or active GitHub profile is a plus.- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) (ref:hirist.tech)
