Job Title : Manual QA Engineer (E-commerce)Experience Level : [Mid-Level / Senior]Department : Quality Assurance / EngineeringAbout the Role :We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer with hands-on experience in e-commerce platforms to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a strong understanding of end-to-end testing of e-commerce workflows such as product listings, cart functionality, checkout, and payment integration.Key Responsibilities :- Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.- Design and execute test cases (manual) for web and mobile platforms.- Perform regression, functional, integration, and UI testing for e-commerce features.- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.- Validate fixes and conduct re-testing as needed.- Work closely with developers and product managers to resolve issues.- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.Required Skills & Qualifications :- 5-7 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester.- Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms or applications.- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.- Hands-on experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).- Experience working with issue tracking tools like JIRA.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile testing.Nice to Have :- Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.- Familiarity with databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus but not required.- Exposure to platforms like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built e-commerce systems.
