About the function:

MakeMyTrip's Independent Domestic Hotels team is a part of the Domestic Hotels Supply function, covering hotels owned and operated within India. This category encompasses standalone hotels as well as regional chains, including neo chains, with a specific focus on tier 2, 3, 4, and 5 cities. Notably, last year witnessed significant expansion, with this segment extending its reach to hotels in over 17,000 cities, underscoring its track record of excellence in service provision.

As part of the Supply Category team for Domestic Hotels, this role is committed to fostering growth and advancing category strategies through effective supply management. The Independent Hotels, with a vast network of over 70,000 contracted hotels on their platform, play a pivotal role in ensuring a diverse and comprehensive offering for MakeMyTrip's customers."

About the role:

This role will serve as an integral part of the Domestic Hotel Supply Category team, with the incumbent leading the category and growth charter. The primary responsibility will be to facilitate decision-making and strategy formulation for both the Supply and Business teams. Additionally, this role will drive key strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing business growth and performance.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading end-to-end projects of strategic importance, which include stakeholder management.

- Providing actionable insights while concurrently driving the execution of multiple projects.

- Developing and tracking Management Information System (MIS) and business intelligence reports for various Supply Key Result Areas (KRAs) and business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Regularly creating impactful and creative presentations, both qualitative and quantitative, as per business requirements on various agendas and reviews.

- Collaborating closely with departments such as Category, Revenue, and INGO to ensure their needs are met and contribute to the organization's business growth.

- Identifying and defining new process improvement opportunities to help scale the business.

- Conducting competitor benchmarking and analysis to identify new opportunities.

- Collaborating with management on business priorities and addressing information needs accordingly.

Qualification & Experience:

- MBA from a reputed institute with 5+ years of relevant experience in a growth management or category management role.

- Expertise in MS Excel and MS Power-point.
