About the Role
We are looking for a smart, tech-savvy, and highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team in Indore, India. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in sales or business development, with a keen interest in technology, as well as AI-driven solutions.
As an SDR, you will be responsible for increasing sales through client acquisition, customer success, and lead generation. You'll be identifying, qualifying, and converting leads while working with a global client base. A significant part of this role involves working with tech projects and handling client work through different channels like Upwork, . If you have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to understand and engage with new technologies, this is the perfect role for you
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and reach out to potential clients via email, , and cold calls. Upwork Client Engagement: Actively manage and respond to leads on Upwork, ensuring high-quality client interactions and project acquisitions.
Qualify Leads: Understand prospects' needs, assess their fit, and nurture relationships.
Sales Pipeline Management: Track interactions and follow up with prospects to move them through the sales funnel.
Tech & AI Industry Awareness: Develop a deep understanding of AI-driven solutions and confidently communicate their value to potential clients.
Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams: Work closely with internal teams to refine outreach strategies and improve conversion rates.
Achieve & Exceed Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead conversion and sales targets.
What We're Looking For
1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
Strong Communication Skills: Verbal and written English is a must.
Tech-Savvy or Willing to Learn: A solid understanding of AI-driven projects or eagerness to learn about AI, SaaS, and digital solutions.
Experience with Upwork or Freelance Marketplaces (Preferred): Prior experience in handling client acquisition on Upwork or similar platforms is a plus.
Sales-Oriented Mindset: Ability to identify opportunities, pitch effectively, and handle objections.
Proactive & Self-Motivated: A go-getter who takes ownership and works independently.
Educational Background: Any bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields preferred).
