Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and open-source tools to ensure product quality.

- Build and enhance automation frameworks supporting functional, regression, and sanity test suites.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand product features and user stories for effective test planning.

- Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and backend testing (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB).

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.

- Manage defect lifecycle and test progress using JIRA in an Agile Scrum environment.

- Prepare comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scenarios based on business requirements.

- Conduct user story demos and obtain sign-offs from business stakeholders.

- Provide strong manual testing expertise including functional, regression, sanity, and black-box testing.

- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and provide status updates.

- Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve testing Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright.

- Proficient in Java (Java 8 or later preferred) for writing UI automation scripts.

- Strong experience in SQL and database testing with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB.

- Good knowledge of HCM applications and Payroll management tools is highly desirable.

- Experience in API testing using Postman.

- Strong background in manual testing: functional, regression, sanity, and black-box testing.

- Familiarity with Agile Scrum framework and tools such as JIRA.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with multiple stakeholders.

- Proven experience in test planning, strategy formulation, and execution.

- Ability to run sanity, functional, and regression test suites Qualifications :


- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Experience working in enterprise HR and payroll domains.

- Certification in ISTQB or other relevant quality assurance methodologies is a plus
