Quality Assurance Automation

Key Responsibilities:

· Years of experience to lead and execute end-to-end testing for web, mobile, and e-commerce applications.

·      Design, develop, and maintain both manual and automated test cases using Selenium or Cypress (Preferable) with minimum of 3 years' experience.

·      Perform comprehensive testing including functional, regression, integration, UI, API, and UAT.

·      Own the test strategy, planning, and estimation for large modules or features.

·      Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure thorough requirement coverage.

·      Drive API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or automation scripts.

·      Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

·      Track, manage, and report defects using JIRA and ensure resolution through the Bug Life Cycle.

·      Participate actively in Agile setup including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

·      Perform peer reviews of test cases, scripts, and automation code.

·      Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices across the team.

·      Ensure high product quality through continuous improvement and by advocating for robust testing at every stage of development.

  • Experience in testing responsive UIs, mobile apps (Android/iOS), and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based test environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Loadrunner).

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Strong experience in manual testing and at least 3 years of automation testing using Selenium/Cypress.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python for writing test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
  • Experience with test case management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, especially B2B/B2C workflows, payment flows, cart logic, and SKU-based validation is a plus.
  • Excellence in analytical and troubleshooting skills.
