Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain 
    automation frameworks
     and test scripts for web and API testing.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to 
    understand requirements
     and create effective test plans.
  • Implement and execute 
    automated regression, functional, and integration tests
     across multiple modules.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira, Zephyr, or similar).
  • Ensure 
    continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
     testing is integrated with build pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and proactively work with teams to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to QA best practices and mentor junior testers in automation techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in 
    automation testing
     for product-based companies.
  • Strong knowledge of 
    automation frameworks
     like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
  • Experience with 
    API testing
     tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with 
    programming languages
     such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with 
    CI/CD pipelines
     and DevOps tools.
  • Strong understanding of 
    software testing methodologies
     (Agile, Scrum, Regression, Smoke Testing).
  • Knowledge of 
    SQL/Database testing
    .
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
