Job Title: AI Product OwnerExperience: 3+ Years (with at least 1 year focused on AI/ML products) Employment Type: Full-time (Remote) Location: Remote / Work from HomeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced AI Product Owner to lead the development and execution of our AI-powered products. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders, data science, and engineering teams—translating complex AI capabilities into valuable product features that deliver measurable business impact. The ideal candidate combines product ownership expertise with a strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and responsible AI practices.Key Responsibilities1. Product Strategy & VisionDefine and communicate the product vision and strategy for AI-driven solutions.Develop and maintain AI product roadmaps that balance innovation, feasibility, and business value.Identify opportunities where AI/ML can enhance user experience or solve key business challenges.Stay up to date with AI industry trends, emerging technologies, and responsible AI frameworks.2. Backlog ManagementCreate, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for AI initiatives.Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria tailored for AI/ML projects, considering data dependencies and model performance metrics.Balance new feature development, model retraining, and technical debt.Use data-driven insights to guide prioritization and roadmap decisions.3. Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and software developers to align business requirements with technical capabilities.Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to manage expectations and share progress.Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive, human-centered AI experiences.Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align on success metrics and delivery timelines.4. AI Product Lifecycle ManagementOversee the complete lifecycle of AI features—from ideation to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.Define and track key success metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, user adoption, business ROI).Monitor model performance post-deployment and coordinate retraining or optimization as needed.Champion ethical and responsible AI practices, ensuring transparency, fairness, and privacy compliance.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.3+ years of product management experience, including at least 1 year with AI/ML-based products.Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and the AI product lifecycle.Proven success in delivering AI-driven features or data-centric products.Proficiency with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience with data analysis or visualization tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, etc.).Knowledge of cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).Familiarity with NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.Understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and governance frameworks.Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, etc.) with AI compliance requirements.Product Management or AI/ML certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, Coursera, AWS ML Specialty).Why Join UsOpportunity to drive cutting-edge AI initiatives that impact real users.Collaborative and innovation-driven environment.Flexible remote work setup with global exposure.Continuous learning culture at the intersection of AI, product, and business.
