We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firmware Team Lead to join our team and play a vital role in leading, motivating, and guiding a team of talented firmware engineers.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in firmware development, proven leadership qualities, and a passion for innovation and delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities :

Leadership and Team Management :

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of firmware engineers.

- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment that promotes learning and growth.

- Delegate tasks effectively, motivate team members, and ensure they have the resources and support needed to succeed.

- Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.

Technical Expertise :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex firmware solutions for embedded systems.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project deadlines.

- Review and approve code written by team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

- Troubleshoot complex firmware issues and identify root causes.

Project Management :

- Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.

- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.

- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

- Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address them.

Communication and Collaboration :

- Communicate effectively with internal teams (hardware, software, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

- Clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements :

- 7 to 12 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.

- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.

- Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, hardware-software interfaces, and real-time operating systems (RTOS) (a plus).

- In-depth knowledge of firmware development methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., version control systems, debugging tools).

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and scripting languages (e.g., Python).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example.

- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.

- Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering high-quality firmware solutions.
