Manager - Finance We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic e-commerce team, reporting directly to the CFO.This role is critical in driving financial performance, providing strategic insights, and supporting rapid business growth in the competitive digital Reporting & Analysis- Prepare comprehensive monthly and annual Management Information System (MIS) reports- Develop executive-level financial dashboards for CFO and business leaders- Create detailed variance analysis comparing budgets, forecasts, and actual performance- Generate monthly Profit & Loss statements with in-depth business unit analysis- Provide actionable insights to optimize performance and achieve strategic Financial Operations- Manage complex sales returns, credit memos, and invoice processing workflows- Oversee order cancellation matrices and revenue recognition policies- Execute daily bank reconciliations and cash flow management- Handle multi-channel payment processing reconciliations (credit cards, digital wallets, BNPL)- Ensure compliance with e-commerce accounting standards and marketplace Planning & Forecasting- Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting processes- Develop KPI frameworks aligned with e-commerce metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion rates)- Support annual budgeting and strategic planning initiatives- Conduct scenario modeling for business expansion and market Improvement & Audit- Lead internal process audits and identify operational efficiencies- Implement automation solutions for repetitive financial tasks- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial & Certification- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- Alternative acceptable: CA (Chartered Accountant), ACCA, or MBA with Finance Requirements- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive finance experience- 3+ years in Finance Manager or similar role- 2+ years in e-commerce, retail, or digital marketplace environment- Proven track record in high-growth, fast-paced Skills & Skills- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets - Pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling- ERP Systems - Zoho, Tally or similar enterprise software- BI Tools - Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent reporting E-commerce Platforms - Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, marketplace analyticsAnalytical & Communication Skills- Exceptional analytical abilities - Complex data interpretation and trend analysis- Executive communication - Present findings to C-suite and board members- Cross-functional collaboration - Work effectively with Marketing, Operations, and IT teams- Problem-solving mindset - Identify issues and implement innovative solutionsPreferred Qualifications- E-commerce industry knowledge - Understanding of digital marketing metrics, subscription models- Project management experience - Leading financial system implementations- Advanced degree - Master's in Finance, MBA, or relevant specializationPerformance Expectations- Monthly reporting deadlines - Consistent, accurate, and timely delivery- Strategic contributions - Beyond reporting, drive business insights and recommendations- Continuous improvement - Identify and implement process enhancements (ref:iimjobs.com)
