This is afull-time, on-site academic roleavailable across the locationPune .Job Summary Join us as aMathematics Instructorin our Mathematics Department at Newton School of Technology. We are seeking an experienced professional to deliver high-quality lectures, design engaging course content, conduct lab sessions, and mentorB.Tech Computer Science students— ensuring their academic and professional success in the tech field. Note:This role is exclusively for teachingB.Tech students . It doesnot involveteaching10th, 12th, or JEE-levelstudents.Key Responsibilities Course Development & Delivery:Design and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in key Mathematics topics, including: Linear Algebra Advanced Calculus Mathematical Foundations for Computer Science Probability & Statistics Discrete Mathematics Optimization Integrate mathematical concepts with real-world Computer Science applications such as AI, Data Science, and Algorithms. Mentor students through projects, competitions, and guided research. Collaborate on curriculum development with faculty and industry advisors. Lab Management:Conduct and manage lab sessions to provide students with hands-on experience in applying mathematical concepts using relevant tools and technologies. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with faculty members, researchers, and industry partners to enhance the curriculum and ensure real-world relevance. Academic Excellence & Student Success:Mentor and guide students to achieve academic excellence and contribute to innovation-driven learning. Stakeholder Engagement:Collaborate with university administrators and Newton School representatives to drive educational innovation. Research & Innovation:Encourage students to participate in research projects and industry collaborations in math-driven domains.Required Skills & Qualifications Must Haves: Strong expertise in core Mathematics — Linear Algebra, Advanced Calculus, Probability & Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and Mathematical Foundations for Computer Science. Proven experience inteaching and mentoring B.Tech students , especially in Computer Science–related contexts. Demonstrated ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear, engaging, and application-oriented manner. Experience in curriculum design and delivery using modern teaching methodologies. Strong ability to connect mathematical theories with applications inAI/ML, Data Science, Optimization, and Algorithms . Excellent communication, presentation, and student engagement skills.Good to Have: Prior experience teaching at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in Mathematics (preferably in CS contexts). Familiarity with AI/ML, Data Science, or Optimization. Knowledge of tools likeGeoGebra, Desmos, MATLAB, or Python .
