Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.


Cash Management:

  • Manage cash flow and liquidity, optimising working capital and ensuring the company's ability to meet its financial obligations.
  • Implement effective cash management policies and procedures.


Financial Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and compliance measures.


Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.


Audit and Compliance:

  • Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.


Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
  • Work closely with the executive team to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support short-term and long-term financial goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, CA is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a finance leader in early-stage consumer companies, preferably in a seed to Series A - stage environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
