Role:

As the Head of Finance, you will lead financial reporting and compliance, controllership, and business finance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, tax compliances, financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliances, risk management, and business finance while continuously improving procedures and controls. You will manage the overall finance function at Barcode Entertainment and coordinate with group-level finance and tax teams for various reporting and compliances.


Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Ensure timely preparation and presentation of financial reports to senior management and stakeholders in line with the group's policy and practices.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and regulatory requirements, including taxation, GST, accounting standards, and FEMA.
  • Audit Management: Oversee external and internal audits, liaising with auditors for accurate and timely completion.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective controls and strategies.
  • Adherence to Group Policies & Practices: Align finance processes and reporting with group requirements.
  • Liquidity Management: Manage and oversee the company’s cash flow, ensuring appropriate treasury controls.
  • Business Operations & Partnering: Collaborate closely with business functions to ensure smooth operations from order to cash and procure to pay.
  • Commercial Discussion and Negotiation: Engage in commercial discussions and negotiations based on business needs.
  • Payroll & Compliance: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely disbursement and compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with top management, group finance teams, and business teams.


Requirements:

  • CA with 8+ years of experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior finance role.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end finance functions of a subsidiary of a large corporate.
  • Experience in new-age digital product/services companies.
  • Hands-on experience in accounting, consolidation, taxation, and regulatory compliances.
  • Proven people manager with experience in managing multi-functional teams and coordinating inter-department and group-level activities.
