As an EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Manager, your role involves overseeing the implementation, configuration, and management of the EWM system within an organization. Here's a general job description for an EWM Manager:

1. EWM System Implementation: Lead the implementation of the EWM system, including gathering business requirements, designing the system architecture, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for successful deployment.

2. Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the EWM system to align with business processes and requirements. This includes defining warehouse structures, storage types, material handling processes, and integration with other modules or systems.

3. Team Leadership: Manage a team of functional and technical consultants responsible for EWM system implementation, support, and maintenance. Provide guidance, mentorship, and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

4. System Integration: Collaborate with other modules and systems, such as SAP ERP, to ensure seamless integration and data flow between EWM and other relevant systems.

5. System Maintenance and Support: Proactively monitor the EWM system to ensure optimal performance, resolve system issues, apply patches and updates, and perform system enhancements as needed. Provide support to end-users and address any EWM-related inquiries or problems.

6. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse management processes and workflows by leveraging EWM functionalities and best practices. Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings.

7. Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure proper understanding and utilization of the EWM system. Create and maintain documentation, including process flows, user guides, and configuration documents.

8. Vendor Management: Collaborate with EWM solution providers or consulting firms to ensure successful project delivery, manage contracts, and stay up-to-date with the latest EWM trends and technologies.

9. Project Planning and Budgeting: Participate in project planning activities, define project timelines, allocate resources, and manage project budgets related to EWM implementation and maintenance.

10. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and senior management, to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment between business needs and EWM capabilities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- B Tech

- 7-10 years' experience in SAP SD

Preferred Skills

- SAP S4H implementation, project lead
