Role description:STL Digital is a global IT Services and Consulting company that enables enterprises to experience the future of digital transformation.We provide end to end services across product engineering, software, cloud, data and analytics, enterprise application services, and Engineer Experiences that create value.We blend the agility of a startup with the stability of an established enterprise.We're passionate about innovation.Our culture is built on 4 core values:.Respect for Individuals: We value every team member's unique perspective and contributions.Hunger to Learn: We encourage continuous growth and development.Promises Delivered: We are committed to delivering on our commitments.Keep it Simple: We strive for clarity and efficiency in everything we 12+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the oil & gas sector.- Proven track record of managing IT and telecom operations in complex, distributed environments.Key Responsibilities:- Define and execute the IT and telecom strategy aligned with business goals in upstream operations.- Leverage GenAI to streamline IT Operations and Compliance.- Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure including data centers, networks field communications, and SCADA systems.- Ensure high availability and reliability of telecom systems across remote and offshore sites.- Proficiency in telecom technologies (VSAT, LTE, microwave, fiber) and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.- Oversee all operations related to IT infrastructure and service delivery.- Ensure adherence to SLA/KPI targets and conduct performance reviews.- Drive business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution.- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for strategic adoption.- Optimize infrastructure costs and improve operational efficiency.- Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure/GCP), ITIL, or relevant technologies.Cybersecurity & Compliance:- Implement robust cybersecurity frameworks tailored to oil & gas threats (e.g., OT/ICS environments).- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001,OG86) and regulatory requirements.Vendor & Stakeholder Management:- Oversee vendor contracts, SLAs, and performance for IT and telecom services.- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and HSE teams to align technology with field needs.Team Leadership:- Build and mentor a high-performing IT team with domain expertise in oil & gas.- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
