About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Development Associate to drive sales growth at GSTZen. The role covers the complete sales cycle—prospecting, client engagement, demos, negotiations, and closures—while building strong customer and distributor relationships. This is a field-based role with regular travel across Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new clients, distributors, and resellers across India.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
- Conduct product demos and tailor presentations to client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and finalise commercial agreements.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements to refine strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and performance using CRM tools.
- Provide regular feedback to the product team on market needs and client expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 2–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in SaaS/technology sales.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
- Willingness to travel extensively within Bangalore.
