Join our simulation team to work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of home appliances and energy-efficient solutions.Role Overview You will dolow-frequency electromagnetic simulationsand motor development projects for advanced electrical systems. This role involvesdesign optimization, multiphysics analysis, and prototypingto deliver high-performance, cost-effective solutions.Key Responsibilities Handle tasks related to: ✔ In-housemotor development projects ✔ Electromagnetic simulations forACB, MCCB, RCB & MCB ✔ Low-frequency simulations likeWireless Power Transfer (WPT), Induction Thermal PerformFEA calculations in 2D & 3Dfor design validation. Characterize machine performance for sizing and performance estimation using analytical tools. Optimize motor design consideringmultiphysics aspects(thermal, structural, NVH). Proficiency inANSYS Motor-CAD, ANSYS Maxwell, ANSYS OptiSlang . Automate workflows usingPythonfor customization and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Thermal, Structural, NVH) to meet design specifications. Supportprototyping and manufacturingfor proof-of-concept verification. Conducttesting and analysisto optimize PMSM and other motor types for efficiency. Performtear-down and benchmarkingof motors. Continuously evaluate new technologies forpower-dense, efficient, low-cost motor designs . Expertise inBLDC, PCB motors, magnet-less motors(SyncRel, Switched Reluctance, Induction motors) for home appliances (Ceiling Fans, Mixers, Grinders, Air Conditioners). Ensure motor supplier collaboration and performance compliance. Knowledge ofmotor material selection , soft magnetic composites, HRE-free magnets.Qualifications M.Tech or Ph.D.in Electrical Machines / Electrical Engineering. 5–10 years of experiencein motor development and electromagnetic simulations. Strong understanding oflow-frequency electromagnetic fundamentals . Hands-on experience withANSYS Maxwell, Motor-CAD, OptiSlang .
