Key Responsibilities:
- Project Acquisition: Proactively search and acquire IT service-related projects from platforms like Upwork, , and other freelancing/job platforms.
- Lead Generation: Utilize multiple channels including cold emailing, social media outreach, and networking to generate high-quality leads and business opportunities.
- Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients based on their business requirements.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through consistent follow-up and communication to ensure the conversion of leads into projects.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the IT services sector to identify potential clients and project opportunities.
- Negotiation & Closing: Engage with prospective clients, negotiate contract terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as project managers, developers, and designers to ensure that the client's requirements are fully understood and met.
- Reporting: Maintain and update a CRM system with lead status, pipeline progress, and key metrics for regular reporting to senior management.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in business development, project acquisition, or sales in the IT services industry, with a focus on platforms like Upwork, , and cold emailing.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IT industry, including software development, web development, mobile app development, and other digital services.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients through various channels.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven mindset.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Understanding: Familiarity with the technical aspects of IT services to effectively communicate project requirements and solutions to potential clients.
