As an IT Business Analyst specializing in Everbridge/xMatters, your role involves bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions, particularly in the context of critical event management and communication platforms like Everbridge/xMatters.

What you will be doing

  • Assist in developing new functionality, maintaining on call rota's, product integration into ServiceNow, training documentation, and teaching of end users.
  • The job will vary based on the business and product needs. It will be based on the above responsibilities.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience required in Business Analysis.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements related to critical event management, incident response, and communication workflows.
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring that proposed solutions align with the capabilities of the Everbridge/xMatters platform and other integrated systems.
  • System Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Everbridge/xMatters workflows, notification templates, escalations, and integrations to meet specific business requirements. Ensure that system configurations adhere to best practices and maintain data integrity and security.
  • Integration Management: Define integration requirements and workflows between Everbridge/xMatters and other IT systems such as incident management platforms, service desk tools, monitoring systems, and HR databases. Coordinate with integration developers to implement and test integration solutions.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Plan, coordinate, and execute UAT activities to validate that Everbridge/xMatters solutions meet business requirements and user expectations. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies found during testing.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to ensure that stakeholders and end-users are proficient in using Everbridge/xMatters functionalities effectively. Create comprehensive documentation, including user guides and process manuals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about new features, enhancements, and best practices related to Everbridge/xMatters and critical event management technologies. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize existing workflows, improve system performance, and enhance user experience.
  • Great to have experience with the IT tools.
