The role will be responsible in providing leadership to build a sustainable, growing, and profitable Women's Health portfolio within designated region in India. The role carries AOP & responsibility for delivering on financial and operational targets.

Sales Representative will lead the transformation of the GYN business to a future state with a robust commercial strategy, defined value propositions, service offerings and capabilities to delight our customers and make our products a key differentiator in designated zones in India.

The role will act as an internal and external change agent, formalize, and deliver training programs for Medtronic/third party employees on how we sell and deliver product, while changing the mindset of stakeholders and customers to accept the value of this new offering from Medtronic. The role will also be responsible for creating segmentation, targeting, and positioning Medtronic' GYN Health portfolio mapping vis-à-vis competition offerings.

A Day in the Life

· Develop a strong business plan for the assigned territories in the local market.

· Develop Distribution network in sync with the organizational priorities to excel in the assigned business segment.

· Train and develop selling capabilities for internal and external selling teams and ensure that the portfolio is driven to build profitable and sustainable value proposition in the marketplace.

· Develop and manage relationships with physician consultants and KOLs for sales engagement opportunities.

· Support hysteroscopy cases in GYN OR's with the GYN surgeons and provide in service training to all clinical stakeholders.

· Work with biomedical department in hospitals to train them on good practices for equipment handling.

· Enable business leadership to continually build future product introduction roadmaps through VOC surveys by sharing market opportunities and competition landscape.

· Support cases in the clinical workshops to train future generation of Hysteroscopic surgeons and create business pipeline.

· Travel with the pre-defined travel plan for the month in sync with business priorities.

· Manage distributor inventories and ensure replenishment orders to keep adequate inventories with your designated distributors at all times.

· Formalize and deliver training programs at regional level for Medtronic/third party employees in sync with the direction from global product & marketing teams.

· Partner with and provide commercial direction to Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, Education, and other critical functions in planning product launch.

· Work with stakeholders in Govt. institutes to develop business in govt segment

· Build customer acquisition and retention plans and interface with customers in development of engagement plan and providing ongoing customer support and service.

· Assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings.

· Develop impactful and coordinated actions aimed at higher account customer engagement.

· Drive customer centric continuous improvement and sales.

· Be commercially aware and monitor the market and gather competitive intelligence on new products, competitive strategies, industry tactics, and opportunities for business growth.

· Collaborate with other division to drive sales and champion internal marketing initiatives to maximize selling points.

· Meet or exceed the annual Sales Revenue Target profitably.

· Achieving AOP for the business for the assigned territories.

· Lead training and demos of the assigned portfolio with sales team and third-party selling agents demonstrating technical and commercial skills.

· Promotion of products and services under various service models to relevant stakeholders.

· Customer management through active feedback from customers and running customer delight programs for products and services

· Internal stakeholder management for the smooth functioning of operational activities

· Provide leadership to the team & invest in development of leadership pipeline

· Conceptualize and lead internal & external change management initiatives as per the requirement of the business.

The AOP will be 300.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • REQUIREMENTS PREFERENCES

· Bachelors in business / Pharma / Engineering / Sciences

· A total of at least 1-5 years (or more) in sales/Operations

· Experience in surgical space Gynae industry experience is preferred.

· Experience in strategy consulting and implementation

· Experiencing of working with larger teams with solid/dotted line relationships would be an added advantage
